What is an Australian Labradoodle?
Australian Labradoodles were first created in Australia in the early 1980's and were purposefully bred to be Service and Therapy Dogs for people with dog allergies. The original breeds introduced were the Labrador, Standard Poodle, Irish Water Dog, Curly Coated Retriever and American and English Cocker Spaniel.

Penny Lane is a proud member of the Australian Labradoodle Association of America.
Our dogs are decedents of the original Australian lines that were purposefully bred for Service and Therapy work. They are not the American Labrador x Poodle crosses.

Penny Lane only raises Multigeneration Australian Labradoodles.
